What we collect. When you create a profile, we store your display name, username, email address, and any collection details (bio, location, specimen records, and uploaded photos) you choose to publish. If you opt in during sign-up, we also store your email address to send our newsletter.

How it's used. Your email is used for account authentication (sign-in and verification) and, only if you opted in, our newsletter — it is never shown publicly. Profile and specimen content you publish is public by design — that's the point of a showcase.

Cookies. We use only strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Storage. Data is processed by our infrastructure providers — Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Vercel (application hosting), Resend (sending account and newsletter emails), and Sentry (error monitoring) — and is not sold or shared with third parties for advertising.

Your rights. You can permanently delete your account and all associated content at any time from Account Settings. For anything else — including opting out of the newsletter — contact us at admin@specimendi.com.
